Sims 4 crashing since update and new fairy pack
I recently bought the Enchanted by Nature pack after the update so Im not sure which one is messing up my game. I started a fairy house build on The Watering Hole lot, got half way through and now my game freezes and crashes every time I try to go down a level on the build. There's also other bugs too, like the water showing land where it shouldn't. Yes it was a brand new save, I tried uploading my half built house to the gallery and redownloading on a new lot and it still crashed. I cleared a bunch of space on my PC, I cleared the cache and other files that were unimportant, I uninstalled the game completely and reinstalled it, I tried a new folder, I repaired the game, tried again and still doing the same thing. I was so excited about the fairy pack and I feel Ive just wasted money on something that I cant even enjoy.
Unable to Download Fairy Garden" Pack + Gallery Ownership Issue
Hello, I'm currently experiencing two issues with the app and game. First, after clearing the cache, restarting the app, and repairing the game, the latest pack — Enchanted by Nature: Fairy Garden Digital Content — will not download. It shows an error stating that I don’t own the content. I had to cancel the download in order to launch the game, as the error keeps appearing. The first three attached photos relate to this issue. Secondly, in-game, when I go to the Gallery to download lots, I'm encountering a problem with pack ownership. Although I own all the packs, the game incorrectly shows that I don't own a specific pack. As seen in the next three screenshots, it initially lists "Business and Hobbies" as owned, but then displays it as not owned. If I attempt to place a lot that includes content from that pack, I receive an error saying items have been removed due to missing ownership. Could you please help resolve these issues? I’m unsure what else to try and it's becoming quite frustrating, especially since I do own all the packs. Thank you for your assistance.
Sims 4 Frequent Crahses
Before you ask: No, I never play with mods and have none installed. Yes, my OS is updated. Yes, my game is updated. Yes, I've repaired my game. Yes, I deleted and reinstalled the EA app. Yes, I've deleted the localthumbcache.package. Yes, I've deleted the onlinethumbnailcache folder. Yes, I renamed my Sims 4 folder and moved it to the desktop, yes, I started a new save . And yes, I've restarted my computer. I've been playing this game for over a decade, I know the basic and advanced troubleshooting methods better than I know my own parents, so I think its time EA address that they are the ones breaking this game, not the users. Ever since the Destroyed by Nature expansion pack came out, my game crashes about every 40 minutes. I know it's not just me having this problem as every simmer on YouTube is experiencing the same problem. As a consumer, it's not to much to ask for a functional product, or a refund for the $1000+ we/I have spent on broken and unplayable DLC Fix the frequent crashes Thanks
Expansion packs don’t load when new build cc is downloaded
And it really is just the house/build cc that seems to be causing it. It doesn’t even need to be in the mods folder, just as long as it’s downloaded on the laptop. The game will still open and run but just as the base game. I’ve repaired the game and cleared the cache and that doesn’t do anything. The only way to get the expansions to load in again is to delete the new cc. To complicate things more, the packs work perfectly fine when any CAS cc is downloaded so I have the most stylish sims but basic houses. I have some build cc from when I last played, which was 2019, so it’s really just a big head scratcher.
Missing purchased packs
So I recently re-downloaded EA and all my Sims games and packs. I was waiting for a new PC with more memory. Anyway, most of all my expansion packs are there. I had Werewolves and Vampires purchased, but it's showing I need to purchase them. How and why did this happen, and how do I fix it? Or am I just SOL? EMILY
Enchanted by Nature expansion issue
i preordered the game and once i went to install last night, it got to the add on and then gave me an error message that game ownership disabled or deleted. the digital fairy content is what seems to be hanging up. i tried to clear cache, disable mods and restart computer/app, it hasn't helped. i went ahead and canceled the download the first time and once i loaded my save, it showed a duplicate of the same world for Inisgreen. has anyone else also experienced double worlds and/or been able to fix the ownership issue? repairing will keep causing the pop up to happen.
