Could only order books I already owned then it got worse
So after the latest update at the end of June I had started a blank slate game and noticed I could only order books my sims already owned from the bookshelf or computer in multiple saves. I don't have mods and am playing on a windows laptop.
I then followed the Clean User Folder guide and now I can't order books at all from the bookshelf or computer. The option doesn't appear on bookshelves and the order section of the computer doesn't have a books option or an order upgrades option.
I did a backup of my saves and reinstalled the entire game and still am having this issue with completely new, redownloaded game and with old saves still in the backup.
Is this an issue with one of my add ons? If reinstalling the game and using an entirely newly developed save doesn't work what should I do? This seems like its an issue with the actual game and not my saves since it has only gotten worse after reinstalling.
