StreamingSimmer When you say you reset your PC, do you mean you wiped it of all data, or something less drastic?
For now, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know where the game is installed, as in, the location shown in the EA App when you click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
