Creating new sims causes error 803

So I downloaded the Sims and played the tutorial household with no issue and even moved 2 new sims into it, but when I bought one of the existing homes nearby and made a new sim to move in, it gives ...

Hello, does anyone know if this was resolved? I am

having the same issue! I have read up on this and think it is something to do with updating the game to The Sims 4 Legacy Edition. I have attached the error message I get and I use Macbook Pro. Could someone help me please?

    I've been having the same issue as well. I've tried re-installing the game and nothing works. Have you gotten yours to work?

      Not yet, still trying to figure out what it could be. Did yours update to the legacy edition?

      Hey, yes I use cc. I saw another post and someone had the error and they removed all mods/cc and tried without and they still got the error message.
