@Phynie Sorry for the late reply. Are you still having trouble with this? This might be as simple as an issue with the in-game resolution, so try putting the game in windowed mode at a resolution smaller than your screen and see whether it makes a difference.
Otherwise, do the keys all work independently of each other outside the game? Try using crtl-shift-Windows key-C instead, that is if your computer runs Windows.
It's also possible that you have a program running in the background that uses the same key combination, so shut down any other programs you have running while you play, at least long enough to test. And if you have an AMD graphics card, its software may use crtl-shift-C as well, so unbind that combination from its usual function to free it up for Sims 4. Let me know if you need help with this step.
- Phynie5 years agoNew Rookie@puzzlezaddict I was able to figure this issue out.. It was because i was playing the game in widowed mode
Any clue why the sudden change? last time i played it was still the traditional Ctrl + Shift + C for windows and i never had to add the Windows key to it
@KitlynSolstice There are a few different reasons, among them a screen capture program running in the background that also uses crtl-shift-C. Programs can update or have their options reset, so it doesn't have to be a new application. There are some suggestions in the first post of this thread:
