The Sims 4 update that was released on 3/23/2021 shows as needing to be updated. I ran the update and everything seemed to go alright but once it finished finalizing, Origin still shows that the game needs to be updated. I tried restarting Origin, logging out and logging back in of Origin, doing a repair, restarting my computer, going offline then back online, running as admin, turning off my virus protection firewall. Nothing works.
A new issue happens every single time The Sims 4 updates and I am at the end of my rope here with how much more I can take with this game.
EDIT: All it took was restarting my computer 7 times. FOR GOD SAKES.
The same thing happened to me as well.

I had this issue (yet again) with the patch. Fixed it straight away by changing the language setting in Origin, then changing it back again.
Why did this work??.....I have no idea!
