What is your current game version number? idk it's after the december update
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? seasons, cats and dogs, city lving, island living, i dont feel like typing the rest.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? idk!!!! but i spent hundreds of dollars on this game and for what?? to not be able to edit sims??
What happens when the bug occurs? my sims goes into a ,ode where it looks like its being reset and i cant edit their clothes or anything but there traits and stuff

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

im sorry im being so demanding but it just gets annoying to look forward to play this game all day and i don't even get to do it because of a mistake.
Hey so I was having the same problem so I googled what to do and you just have to repair your game in Origins (Well that's what I did) and now I am able to edit my Sims. You go into your library left click on the Sims 4 and the click repair. It worked for me and I hope it does for you too (if it doesn't I'm sorry)
