@muffinberry8883 Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

@muffinberry8883 Clear Origin's cache (Windows) or run the Origin reset tool (macOS):

Restart your computer, and move the entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Launch the game, spend a few minutes in Create a Sim, then have a look around in live play. Let me know whether you still see any missing textures (the red/white sims or question marks). If you do, please let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS, and whether you're running the Legacy Edition or the standard version of Sims 4.
