[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 already running

Sims 4 won't actually load it pops up a message saying "The Sims 4 is already running   Go ahead and start playing. It's a good one." yet the game is not running. It will even pop up a message that the files is corrupted and needs repaired but that doesn't fix it either. It started right after the last update. I have already unistalled EA app and sims 4 and reinstalled both after i restarted the computer. I have removed all files and cleared everything that needed  to be cleared.
