[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 already running

Yesterday I finally decided to try Gshade since I saw that everyone and their momma were using it.  Anyway, it did not work so, I uninstalled it and deleted its files. I try to fun my game again and nothing happens. It tells me the game is already running. It's been like this since yesterday afternoon. Now, I'm not saying Gshade broke my game but man. The game worked with it but then afterwards nope. I've uninstalled steam, EA, and the sims numerous times. I took out my mods folder when it first happened so I don't think it was that. I've uninstalled the sims like 5 times and it still says it's already running. I have no idea what to do. I've tried installing Gshade again, and nope. I just want to play bruh but at this point I'm done.
