When I updated the app in November/December I lost my main save game file and library content for the Sims 4. I was in the hospital for about 6 weeks so I was not able to work to quickly work to recover it during that time. Playing is really not as fun without my saved progress and no advice as to how to how to recover the files have been successful.
@emilylou10 I've merged your post with the master thread for disappearing user content. Please see the first post on page one.
I don't have any suggestions that aren't in that post. If the data is not on your computer and not in cloud storage, that unfortunately means it's gone.
