I came across this post and thought you might be able to help me. I got a new laptop and wanted to play my most recent sims game on it. SO, I upgraded my cloud storage on one drive so it could sync all my mods and saved games from over years on my prior laptop. But now, neither laptops have my most recent saved games! It's all from years ago when I last had my one drive connected.
I see my saved games on my one drive but it’s not showing up on the game and I don’t know how to put it in the local drive because the sims folder is in the one drive and not my computer…I hope this makes sense..Someone please help!

In your specific case, you'll want to search both your old and new computers for your more recent saves. I would also suggest undoing the OneDrive settings and moving data manually. It's more reliable, it's cheaper (no subscription fees), and if you get rid of OneDrive entirely, you're not risking your content being deleted or replaced by older versions in the future.
