Haven’t played sims in a good while so when I went to open it up for the first time in a few years I was met with an origin launch fail. I’ve installed EA now and updated my game but when booted up the game all my save files have gone and it’s as if I’ve never played the game before. All my (not uploaded) gallery is gone and all my cc. Do the origin sims files not cross over to the ea sims files? I assumed they would because it seems like you can’t launch sims through origin anymore. It looks like everything(?) is under
Local Disk (D🙂 > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
are we meant to move the files over or has something gone wrong? Is there anyway to still play sims through origin? Please help T.T

@Cassidykh92 I've merged your post with the master thread for disappearing saves and other user content. The first post on page one describes how to search for it.
The location of the user folder is the same as it's always been. But this folder may have been deleted at some point, or your computer's Documents directory may have changed. If the user files aren't in the location Sims 4 is actually reading, they won't load. Here's how to find the folder currently being used:
