I updated my game today, and everything is missing. No save files or anything. Its as if it's my first time playing the game. While I was waiting for the update to finish I went to check the sims 4 file under documents and it wasn't there until I opened the app after the update finished. The EA app still has my time played. This is very frustrating and makes me want to stop playing because I just don't want to take the time to try and remake everything. It doesn't seem like I'm the only having this issue. If EA doesn't solve this issue I probably wont be playing anymore. Disappointing.
redjuan26 Then I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you. Saves should never just disappear like this, but it does happen. One question I have is where you've installed the game itself. If it's in Documents, that would explain why this could have happened, at least. You can see the install location in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
If you want to do a more thorough search, you can download Everything, from VoidTools, which is a free and highly-efficient search tool. It won't necessarily find anything, but maybe you'll get lucky.
