Forum Discussion
Honestly, I'm too frustrated right now to look for a solution in the forums.
I got an email from Microsoft stating that my OneDrive folder was too large and files were going to get deleted if I did nothing. Problem was, I didn't know all of the game files on my computer apparently defaulted to OneDrive instead of my Documents folder. I moved all of the Sims 4 files from the OneDrive Documents folder to the regular Documents folder, but when I try to load up the game, it just created a whole new batch of files in OneDrive. When I click View Properties on the EA App, the only option for a location is where the physical program is (in my Programs folder, where it's supposed to be), but no option to select where my saves and mods folder should be. I'm probably going to have the same issue with some of my Steam games if I load them up and it creates new files in OneDrive.
I had an issue before I had to reset my laptop where the program randomly shifted from the saves and mods in my Documents folder to a new batch in the OneDrive folder (and then randomly shifted back after a while), so I know the program can change where it registers the saves and mods are, just no clue on how to manually do it.
