I updated my Sims 4 today (May 12, 2026), and now I have lost access to all of my saves and a number of things that I had saved to My Library in the Gallery, including my most recent family and home.
I have tried looking in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves & Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray and I can see all of my files, the game will not acknowledge them for some reason.
The game does not give me the option to open any saves, it is acting like this is a fresh install (it is not). It is showing my packs, and it is showing me part of my saves from the Gallery Library.
Does anyone have any ideas? I was working on a House of the Dragon game, and I would really hate to have to redo all of that work.
19ff572c2f9b74ee You've only searched for one save, not for all of them, and I can't tell from the info you've provided whether this is the missing save. So please open your saves folder and post a screenshot of the contents. Then go in-game and see which saves ARE loading. You can see the save number by hovering over the folder icon. Let me know which saves, if any, are in your saves folder but don't show up within the game.
