Summarize your bug Every time I go to load the sims 4 it tells me that it is corrupted and to reinstall, repair or use the origin launcher. I have reinstalled, repaired the game and even reinstalled the app launcher several times. Nothing is working. When the game is downloaded there is no shortcut. I have tried several fixes and am at a loss. I have been trying on and off to fix it for like a week before this error report. Why own a game I can not play.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Troubleshoot and or fix the error. Any sort of fix to the problem.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game refuses to load giving an error on start up. No repairing or reinstalling will fix the error despite the error detailing to do so.
What do you expect to see? The ability to play the game I have paid to be able to play.
I will not use EA in the future if I am unable to trust that what I pay for will actually be viable.
@Azesia44 Please post a screenshot of the error. I think I know what error this is, but I don't want to direct you to the wrong troubleshooting thread.

Thank you. Any help is very much appreciated! The game is freshly installed and subsequently repaired with no custom content or anything.

@Azesia44 Right, that's the error I expected. I've merged your post into the master thread for this issue. Please see the first post on page one. You can skip the parts about mods and a clean user folder since you don't have any user data yet.
