hi! so basically i was really tired and was deleting some cc and stuff in my sims 4 files and i ended up deleting EVERYTHING in the actual sims 4 stuff, like mods, cache, ect everything. i emptied my bin too before i had realized ☹️ i tried reinstalling on steam but when i open the ea/sims 4 folder it only has the steam saves file. was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and had a solution.
@mwooshie You could try looking in OneDrive, if you've ever let it run on this computer. Even if it's not running now, have a look at onedrive.com, both My Files and the Recycle Bin.
Other than that, there's really nowhere else to look, unfortunately.
hi thank you for a reply! i deleted it and already emptied it in my recycling bin, would my one drive still have it even if i emptied my recycle bin? i need to remember my pw for my onedrive. wondering if i should just reset my pc like a factory reset if that doesnt work..
@mwooshie There's a recycle bin on your computer, and then there's a recycle bin on onedrive.com. They're not the same, and hopefully you can find something on the website, in My Files if not in the trash.
I don't see why you'd need to factory-reset your PC. That wouldn't restore your data, and if your game is otherwise running properly, there's no other problem to solve.
