Deleting Floor Tile Outdoor

once I put some floor tiles outdoor (not in a room), how can I remove them and get back to original terrain? I cannot plant in the floor tiles. Thanks~

    Does the sledgehammer not work ? Maybe draw a wall around it and delete it from there ?

    Drawing a wall or room around it does not work. Sledgehammer does.
