Detective career debug cheats?

When I was using testingcheats true and clicking on a sim. I noticed that It said detective daily event so I click on that and it has a bunch of different things but all say debug above them does anyone know what they do? I didn't want to try because I have just finally figured out how to make the detective career work.So thanks for any help!
