Platform: Windows 11 Nvidia GPU
Which language are you playing the game in? Italian
How often does the bug occur? When I play using dx11 and not dx9.
What is your current game version number? Most recent update
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every packs and kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Trying to minimize The Sims 4 using directx11.
What happens when the bug occurs? No issues with the game running. Just not able to use the windows start key to minimize window to desktop. Even when I play in full screen windowed the game remains in the screen and keeps using tons of CPU and GPU, ironically more than when is not in background. Another problem is that FPS limit doesn't work in the game, the only solution is to set up an FPS limiter from GPU driver 3D settings. Despite this, V-sync works.
What do you expect to see? My desktop, and FPS lower than my X FPS limiter set (So 50, 59, 60 etc...) inside game menu.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods The technical issue still persists without mods or shaders.
