Hello!
Maybe try to update your driver? is it only Sims or other games that have weird sounds? if it's in other games as well i think it's you're computer that's the fault for this problem. If it is, try and get information on what's in your computer (specs), such as driver, CPU etc.

My drivers are up to date.
My minecraft has had weird noise for a long while. I never knew what caused it to do the same type of noise.
But I’ve had other games not have the same issues. My lego games work fine and stuff. ☹️
Ive checked for updates, had my computer scan for any issues and it says things are fine and there’s no issues.
