DLC download error

Hi to whoever may read this! I'm writing this a little past midnight and have been dealing with this issue all day so I need help. I updated my game a couple days ago and made sure to remove all mods/cc before doing so, and was able to play the game after it updated. Today though, I wasn't able to open the game at all. I signed into EA and tried to launch the game, and it opened but only for a few seconds, then it minimized and went straight back to my home screen. I thought at first I must've hit a button on accident and so I tried to open it again but it did the same exact thing, and the multiple times after that. So, I removed all my mods/cc again, cleared the cache, and tried to repair the game and add-on's. Though, there were a few packs, three different ones each time, that said "download error" and would remain at 14%. I got pretty tired of this and decided to just uninstall everything, the base game and add-on's. Now my issue is with downloading the base game. It keeps saying "download error" and restarts the download every few minutes. Now, I don't have the best internet but it has never been an issue with the game before, and I have plenty of storage space on my computer as well. I don't want to have wasted a ton of money on this game and all the add-on's because I can't get a whole new computer just for this. I have absolutely no clue what the issue is, so whoever may read this please help me!
