[DU] Game Crashing after going to an event

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions Dine Out, Spa Day, Parent Hood Backyard Stuff, Laundry Day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I noticed this everytime I leave my dorm to go to an event and the loading screen was involved and after I tryed to return home it would send me to the world's page and say that an error occurred and I needed to restart my game.Everytime I did the same thing would happen, even when I started a new game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sends me back to the world's page saying I need to relaunch my game.
What do you expect to see? My sim being able to return back to his/her dorm without happening to restart my game over again.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the most recent patch. (Don't have the specific one) ‌

I wasn't able to retrieve any screen shots.

  • @jsdmd29  I see you have mods and cc.  I am assuming that the dorm is set as university housing venue.  Did you change any of the beds in the dorm to cc beds?  There has been a problem with the University Housing venue crashing when cc beds were placed in them.  If you change the beds back to game beds, that might fix it.  If it is not the beds, there are also other cc objects that will cause the venue to crash, so you may have to remove all your cc items.

Another thing you can try is change the venue to Residential.  That does force you to move the sims out to change the venue type but you should be able to move them back without a problem.  But cc beds that don't work in the University Housing venue seem to still work fine in a Residential venue.
