Hi so... i want to reinstall my The Sims 4 game beacause It says I have to reinstall it (i think its beacause of some cc...) But the EA told me that I Will lose all of my expansion packs if i uninstall the game?! So I want to ask wth am I supposed to do then?? I will ve thankfull fór your answers ❤️
Can I ask? I am using EA app for months now, And when I wanted to play the sims 4 today it told me that there Is an error with my game settings And that i have to reinstall the game again. But when I click on uninstall button it says that i will lose all my bonuses and dlcs?!! EA support told me that Its beacause od the newest update and I have to wait and that I must not uninstall the game fór now, but I see this problem Is existing over months? I am confused.
@EZB33 All of your packs are owned by your EA account, not your computer. So if you uninstall the game, those packs will still be available when you reinstall.
If you want to preserve your saves and other user data, all of that is in the Sims 4 folder inside Documents > Electronic Arts. This folder shouldn't be deleted during the uninstall process, but sometimes that happens, so please make a backup copy before doing anything else.
However, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help with custom content-related issues. What problem are you seeing? If it's only about the cc, you can just move the Mods folder to your desktop and see whether the game works. If you load an existing save, don't save your progress with the cc removed, or you can test on a new save instead.
