EA App will not Launch Sims 4

@littelivviez  What happens when you try to launch Sims 4?  If you get an error message, please post a screenshot.  Either way, please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Any suggestions for Mac?

I launch Sims 4 from EA App. EA App minimises like the sims 4 is about to open then suddenly the ea Pops up again. 

There's no error. It just says "Preparing Game" with a bar that loops.

Just Says "Launching game" and never launches. 

That has changed today. 

Before it said "Preparing game" but now it actually says it is trying to launch.

@littelivviez  Your dxdiag shows a few serious crashes of the graphics driver, or one of them.  So please update the Nvidia driver.  You can get the newest version here:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install.  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

If that doesn't help, please post a new dxdiag.

It was indeed...

The hard drive.

My laptop has passed away during fixes.

@littelivviez  I'm sorry to hear that.  If and when you're ready to buy a new laptop, feel free to ask for advice, or a second opinion on what you've picked out, or hardware questions in general.

Brand new PC and it's doing the same thing.

I FIGURED IT OUT. 

EA App did not like that I was signing in with my phone number rather than my email address. 

This restricted my access until I signed in with my email and provided secondary authentication.
