This method worked for me: Go up to top left hand corner, click go offline, then click go online and it fixed for me.

What happens when the bug occurs? after the april 26th update, my game will not allow me to launch because it is stuck on the update and repeatedly updates.
What do you expect to see? my game to actually update and not be stuck in a loop
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
