This method worked for me: Go up to top left hand corner, click go offline, then click go online and it fixed for me.
Hi,
I logged on to find that an update was ready for my sims 4 game. Which is great, we love those.
Except, when I went to update, it downloaded, installed and finalized like normal, but the option to play never came up. It just says update again, I wondered if maybe a second update had come out so I clicked update and it immediately went to finalized and then asked me to update.
I have no option to play the game.
I have tried some fixes so far, but have not cleared out my cache. Some recommended fixes on google that I've tried were:
- Log In/Log Out
-Restart your computer
- Repair your game files (this successfully repaired Growing together... for some reason)
- I would like detailed instructions on how to clear my cache since this is EA's Launcher, not Origin.
Any other idea's on how to fix this would be much appreciated.
