    This method worked for me: Go up to top left hand corner, click go offline, then click go online and it fixed for me.

Wanted to play The sims 4 but it needed update. So as usual i started doing so but when it got done , nothing changed. game still needed a update. it wont let  me to play because of update and cant even do so. what should i do? ☹️(  please help  ☹️(
