EA App won't install 4/26 update, can't launch game

    This method worked for me: Go up to top left hand corner, click go offline, then click go online and it fixed for me.

Sims 4 is saying it needs to do a game update, I ran the update and it ran successfully. I get a small pop up to say if I now wish to launch the game but then nothing loads.

The update section says completed but the game itself still says "Update Required" and wont let me play. I've cleared cache, ended EA app & background and restarted the app and also the PC but nothing is changing. No error messages are coming up.
