eco lifestyle trial dissapeared

I’m having a similar problem. After clicking the option for the trial version, the download didn’t start. I then loaded up The Sims, but when clicking the green “Try out the trial version” (or whatever the English equivalent is called), a pop-up claims that the download of the trial version was interrupted and that Eco Living for some unknown reason is no longer being downloaded. If I click on “Try it all for free” in the turquoise and yellow box on the left, it first took me to another page outside the game where I was presented with the option to buy the expansion pack (??), but on the 2nd and 3rd attempt I had to log into this external EA page where I could choose “try for free” only to be greeted by the message that I already owned the pack (??).

I tried repairing the game and then out of sheer frustration, I also hit the x-button next to where it said that the free trial for the pack was in the download queue and now it doesn’t even show up there as being something that needs to be downloaded (although before it was downloading anyway) anymore.

Any advice on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Edit to add: Oh, and before clicking the trial version, it also said something about what to do if having trouble with the download. However, mysteriously AFTER having clicked the button to try it for free, I have had no luck finding that page once more. It seems to have disappeared just like the download of the trial version itself.

I managed to get it to redownload too its currently doing it now!! I was reading another forum and they said all you had to do was go to the sims4 page on origin and scroll down in expansion packs to find the download and it luckily worked 🥳 Hopefully It doesnt mess up again and I hope your game and trial runs smoothly this too!! ❤️ ( but ty for the help and responding with what happened to you :D )
