English language- HOW?!

Can I play The Sims 4 in English yet?!

I bought The Sims 4 when it came out. I have the Digital Version, because I'm a huge fan of the series, but not being able to play in English is driving me nuts. I hate translations with a passion. I want to play the game in English, but only languages I can choose from are Polish, Czech and Russian. I really don't like it, it's frustrating and I end up quitting the game because of that reason every time.

Now with toddler update out and vampire DLC just around the corner, I really want to play Sims 4 again. I'm disappointed to find that there don't seem to be multilanguage packs. Still. After over 2 years.

Can I do anything, ANYTHING to play The Sims 4 in English?

But without buying the game AGAIN. :/

  • If you can't choose any other languages there aren't any other languages for the version you bought.

@Vixanne Languages available for the game do depend on the region the game was purchased in - for games purchased in Czech Republic, Poland and Russia only those languages are available.

There are no language packs available for Sims 4, so if you wished to play the game in English you would need to purchase a copy of the game that includes English. If you decide to do that, I would recommend checking online stores like Amazon and making sure English is included with the game.

    I do.

Why can't I play in English? It's the original language the game was made in. It's the international language. Why was such a decision made in the first place? Why am I not able to buy a game with a language I know because I live in country A and not B? Even with origin set to English I don't have the option to do so. Having the game for over 2 years now, with people still complaining about not being able to play in English, Spanish, Russian, German etc, because they bought the game in place B and not A, how come EA is still ignoring this issue? If they can release Toddlers for free, why can't they release language packs for free too? Hell, I could even pay some money at this point, so I can actually enjoy the game. But I won't buy the whole game again.
