Entertainer Career Won't Work

Entertainer career -- Sim won't go to work.  This is an old issue that I thought would have been fixed by now.   No mods are causing this.  I already deleted cache files.  Sim just won't go to work....

    It skips to the next workday as if they went to work.  

    I did you one better - I tried to play on my other computer and it did the same exact thing.  All new save all new household.  

    I am gonna try it on my mac and see if it does the same thing but I have a feeling it will.

could you give more details what you mean by: It just skips ?

Do you get that with every Sim in the career even if you start a new save game for testing purposes ?
