Entire household stuck, game gets stuck on loading screen on exit

My entire household got stuck in the middle of their actions. One was on the toilet, one in bed and one in a chair. Once their actions were finished, they kept sitting/lying where they were even afte...

I'm just about ready to uninstall this buggy nightmare of a game. I've just now, finally figured out how to get the game to consistently play without the dreaded "the sims 4 has stopped working" crash and now this? I'm going to try the neighbor visiting trick and see if that works otherwise just about ready to uninstall and forget this game.
