Error - TS4_x64.exe
Hi I can’t play my sims 4 anymore. The error message says do you want this unknown publisher to make changes to your device TS4_x64.exe - when I say yes it still doesn’t launch. I’ve reinstalled ever...

@beboppeanut What antivirus do you use? It's possible it's blocking the .exe from running.
I disabled my security and firewall just to launch but it didn’t make any difference:-(
@beboppeanut I'd still like to know what antivirus you use, because some of them have additional relevant settings, and "disabling" them doesn't always mean disabling every feature that might interfere.
Additionally, please clear Origin's cache:

and repair the game: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
If that doesn't help, open [install path]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and trash TS4_x64.exe, then repair a second time, which will force Origin to download another copy of the .exe.
