Hi,
Happy new year! I am trying to start the new year off right and get my Sims 4 files across to my new laptop.
Unfortunately every time I've tried I've been hit with Error 0x80070022 and then the USB file corrupts and everything turns into button smash letters and symbols. See image attached.
I cannot figure out how to fix this and I'm dying to get back to playing Sims 4!

@SpringFae Are you willing to erase the USB? It might be the problem here, in which case formatting it could help.
You could also try filesharing over your network instead of using a USB:
If you decide to use OneDrive (another option), I would highly suggest NOT allowing it to sync the contents of Documents on the new computer. Here's how to check the settings:
It's much easier to start with this setting disabled than to change it after the fact when the Documents directory already contains a lot of data.
