Error code: 102:5924646b:7277507f

I don't know how to fix this error.  My game was fine prior to installing the Island Living and Get Together expansion. I've tried repairing it. I've tried the legacy edition and I've tried to relaunch the game.

  • I'm having a similar problem but my code is 102:5924646b:15a73dd6.  I get this error code when I try to open a lot and the map view glitches as well with the families not being visible.

@mlbynum I moved your tech cause you have a different error.

Are you using mods/cc in your game at all ? DId you test without ?
  • HI @LexiSexy5226

This error message seems to point towards some outdated mods you're still using in your game.

Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? If so, have you tried removing those ?

A lot of custom content/mods is outdated and needs updating.

Try removing everything and see if it then works.

If it does, narrow down which one it could be,

    here's a list: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/968717/broken-updated-mods-cc-university-edition

Use the 50/50 method: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content if that doesn't help

    1. Move the mods folder to the desktop.
    2. Find and delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name.
    3. Fix the game in Origin.
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    4. Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if the game is working now properly without mods
    5. Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK.
Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. (Divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

    I don't work for EA
