Error Code 110:dc9d1b8c:def8b958

I haven't played my save in a handful of months and I have cleared/ ran through updating a good chunk of my Mods. I've been using tools made by the community to possibly even catch the errors as they occur and nothing conclusive has been found. I did the handy 50/50 method and that was an auto fail also.

I can pretty much do everything except go into Live mode on a lot with my Sims. I can build and CAS for hours on end with zero issue. But as soon as Live mode hits that error code pops.

I'll have to report back on how it runs without CC but so far removing all my cc is causing the longest load screen I've had during this entire process

  • inutrasha94  Does your save work with the Mods folder removed?  What about loading a different household within this save, with or without the Mods folder?  Please try both.

Trying different households in different save files also doesn't work. And uhhh whenever I remove mods my game doesn't load. Like at all. I left it to try to load for 5 hours while I went out and still came back to it on the load screen. Even tried again this morning and its still on the load screen as I reply now. So oddly enough, the mods at least let me into the game but totally vanilla doesn't stand a chance

  • inutrasha94  Please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and confirm it works.

If the new save doesn't load, or you can't load the game at all, stop here and let me know.

If the new save works, copy one of your existing saves to the new Sims 4 folder, but nothing else yet, and see whether you can load your main household.  If you can't, look for a lastexception in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  If you find one, open it and delete the first line of text, then attach it to a reply here.  Or you can copy the entire file and paste it into your reply.

You don't need to wait more than a couple minutes for the save to load.  If it's not working, kill the game in the Task Manager and look for the LE file.

okey dokey! The fresh save loaded no issue, my old saves household didn't load so here is the lastexception I found.
