@ronald_bro404 The initialization error usually appears when there's an issue with the user folder. Something is blocking the game from making changes.

Do you play the game in english ?

EDIT: What version of Origin are you using ?

- What's your Origin Version ?
- What language are you playing the game in ?
- What language is your Origin in ?
- Is that the exact number your getting or is yours a bit different ?

- What security software are you using ?

another thing i can play legeacy edition sims 4 without problem its just for sims 64 bit i hope this would be helpful

Have any of you tried a game repair yet ?

Try multiple times.

For Origin

1. Close the game
2. Right-Click on the game in the origin library
3. Choose Repair game

For Steam:

1. Close the game
2. Right Click on the game in your library
3. Choose Properties
4. Choose tab Local Files
5. Press Verify Integrity of Game Files

I tried :

- Repair Sims / Origin

- Reinstall Sims / Origin (difficult method after ccleaner, regedit...) 3 times (change folder D:/ to C:/)

- Change ransomware protection

- Run as admin / without antivirus / defender

- Change Origin location french/english and Sims langage french/english

But nothing works

@crinrictHere is my DxDiag file, sadly I couldn't get errors including Sims 4 to show up.

@2276165  Thank you! Repairing my Visual C++ files 2012-2019 fixed it and my game is running again!

@sclina and none of you got any dll errors ever ? Just the initialization error ? There were def none in your DxDiag.

so update the microsfot visual should solve it?

nope, again the same issue.

i installed the vc++ redistributables 2015-2019 but same error appears.

i get frustrated now ☹️
