Failure to launch

Hello, i'm having trouble with launching the game, the "preparing game" pop up dissapears and the  launching game screen can try to launch for 10mins and nothing happens. I've tried:

• updating my drivers to the latest version
•  removing my mods
• clearing cache
• "repairing" the game
• uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
• also runing EA as administrator
• basically everything that i have seen so far online

This happened after my game updated yesterday, but to be fair i have not played for a month so i am not sure if the issue was there before the update.
