Faulty Error Message On Cheats
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.59.73.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Island Living, University
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open up the cheats box, enter "testingcheats true" and receive kickback of "Unable to execute command." This occurred after I installed University, which was yesterday, but up until about 15 minutes ago I was getting the standard result from entering cheats.
What happens when the bug occurs? As near as I can tell, it seems to be displaying a false error of "testingcheats true" not being enabled. I tried a couple other cheats that require testing cheats to be enabled and they worked, but I have not confirmed this across all cheats.
What do you expect to see? I'm not remembering the regular result offhand but I think it's supposed to confirm that the cheats are enabled.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I have not had any crashes to cause this. I closed the game for dinner, came back, and the error displayed. Custom content has not been installed since Island Living first was released.
