- Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? Not realted. Does not need answering anymore
- Do you have this issue only on a particular save game or on all of them ? I only have one.
- Can you start a new game for testing purposes ok ? Yes
- Do the backups of the saves work (Here's instructions how to access them) ? Nope
- If they do, do they corrupt after a while too ? NA
- Do you have any lastexception.txt files in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\ ? If so, please zip them up (all of them) and upload to mediafire or dropbox and post the link here. Linked above, advise when you're done with them.
Questions about your save game
- Have you been switching families or played one ? Ive been switching around, adding homes to lots and moving Sims into them. Maybe this is a modern day Code 12 with memory issues? I've saved every time I went from one lot to the other though, so I dont think its anything like that but I am no expert. Code 12 ran me out of Sims 3! If its been reincarnated I will destroy all Ambrosia in the EA galaxy lest an evildoer is resurrecting it.
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in? There is a secret agent and a writer in the hh that seems to be at the head of this problem for my game.The household I was trying to switch to is the same family that this glitch occured on in the first Sims 4 game. I got rid of it thinking a mod destroyed it, blamed myself. Started over. I put this sim family in, all was well for awhile, so I went ahead and started moving other sims into the town and building homes. Once I was satisfied for the night with what I'd done, I went to switch back to my base family, and BLAMO, just like Code 12 this glitch creeped up on me again, and rendered my town useless. It is lot RIO VERDE in Oasis Springs. The issue presented when loading THIS family both last save game folder and this new one. Coincidence or is my fam bugged?
- Are there children/teens in your family? Yes. Teens AND a child.
The only solution for now seems to be to remove the entire saves folder and start over.
