Wall Decorations Won't Save

Hi everyone, so I'm having a problem that came along after the last update. Before the update, I followed the sims 4 recommended instructions. I removed my mods, backed up, the works. Now, whenever I place wall decorations (base game or cc) it doesn't save. The save icon goes round and round and I eventually have to force end the game. I have removed broken cc and stuff like that and it got to the point where i even reinstalled the game and nothing is fixing the issue. Is anyone else having this or does anyone know how to help. My cc clutter and furniture is fine. It's just any type of wall painting.
