HELP! I was playing the sims for a few days. & Noticed that I couldnt play my households once, Restarted my computer, then it worked. Now, it doesnt let me play at all. IM STUCK ON THE MAP! I tried restarting my computer Lastnight, I redownloaded the origin file, and still nothing. I tried to see some of the threds regaurding "Deleting the catch files" But I dont know how to do that. Can you please tell me whats wrong! I just got this game for xmas, and I dont want my parents to think that I broke it. They Paid ALOT Of money for this game! I used cheat codes, and downloaded a bunch of clothes, hair, and makeup mods. But Deleted them lastnight thinking that maybe That was the problem, but no. It still wont work. I shut down my Pc all night thinking that maybe it needed a rest, but It still wont work! please help me PLEASE. I wanna play this game until I have to go back to school!
Questions:
Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? Not realted. Does not need answering anymore (Even though it doesnt matter, I did have Mods, Hair & clothes, but then I deleted them last night.)
Do you have this issue only on a particular save game or on all of them ? I'm having trouble with all of them.
Can you start a new game for testing purposes ok ?I could, but i dont know how to.
Do the backups of the saves work (Here's instructions how to access them) ? not that i know of.
If they do, do they corrupt after a while too ?
Do you have any lastexception.txt files in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\ ? If so, please zip them up (all of them) and upload to mediafire or dropbox and post the link here. file:///C:/Users/rixch/Documents/Electronic%20Arts/The%20Sims%204/lastException.txt

- Have you been switching families or played one ? I have been switching from me & my sisters family & back to mine.
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in ? Aspirations: Rich. Carrer's writer.
- Are there children/teens in your family ? The wife is actually pregnant.
- If you started a new game and had this issue, did you put in an older Sims family or completly start over from scratch ? I created several families & started from scratch. I Evicted alot of my other families so I dont have to but another house & redecorate, but thats it.
- Anything else you think important (no rants please) ? I used Cheats: -Testingcheats on- & -Money x9999999- & -Motherlode- I also had cheats for friendships & relationships. & I also downloaded mods, but deleted them after.
