FIXED SIMS 4 UPDATE GLITCH

So, after the update obviously everyone started experiencing issues with the game and me as well. So I did some digging and fixing it myself and I believe I may have found a resolution. I went to my files folder and then on the sidebar I clicked “downloads” and found EAsppInstaller and double clicked on it and it gives you the option to “Launch the EA App” or “Repair” and I clicked “repair” and loaded the game after, and it’s been working properly since. And I’ve been playing for about an hour without any glitches so far. 

I have a dell laptop so I’m unsure if Mac or other gaming systems will offer the same solution but never hurts to try.

I also want to say and make this clear, that I am not saying this will completely fix your game but wanted to offer some help to my fellow simmers. I hope I was of some service, happy simming! :)

    Now, the only issue that I’m having with my game now after doing the “repair” solution is when I go into build mode it doesn’t let me remove or add items and when I return to live mode my game is glitched. I can’t click on anything, save game, see the sim info at the bottom and I’ll have to restart my game. Luckily the game automatically saved my new household prior to finding this small resolution, hopefully they fix this soon because it is inconvenient.
