My Sim teen is at high school, and the event timer now flashes really fast when her school day is almost up. Usually, it just pulsates slowly, and I'm fine, but I have photosensitive epilepsy, and it's flashing super fast. I do not have mods or CC.
KimmeyBug Does this happen regardless of what speed you're using for the game clock? Please test and let me know; don't put yourself at risk of course, but you could see when it speeds up and quit or walk away for a few minutes.
If the speed doesn't matter, please test a new save, for comparison's sake.
If that doesn't help either, try playing with the EA App in offline mode, which shouldn't matter in general, but maybe something about the ads for the current sale is interfering here.
