food items showing up as purple with question mark, no mods.
After the update some recipes in the sims are showing as purple in the selection menu after hitting cook on the fridge/stove, for example the mac and cheese and the garden salad displayed in the photos. this is with no mods installed or even enabled in my game, repairing my game within the EA app, no gshade or reshade.
@strawbairie Please clear the EA App's cache and repair again.

If that doesn't help, please test in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how these foods look.
