'frequency out of range change setting to 1280x1024 with 60hz'

Question

I have just installed the sims 4, when i clicked the game icon i got a black screen saying "frequency out of range change settings to 1280x1024 with 60hz" my settings are already at this can anyone help? I'm running Windows 10 and i am useless with the technical side of computers i need some help please!!!

Is that your game or your windows resolution ?
