Fresh install "missing or damaged" error

That seemed to have fixed it, just wish I didn't have to switch accounts to get a game, that prior, worked perfectly fine.

@GeoToxxin  Try running the takeown command on the Electronic Arts folder, or even the Documents folder, in your main account.  One reason the alternate account would work while the main one doesn't is borked permissions.  I wrote out how to do it here:

Another possible cause is OneDrive failing to sync, for example if it's full, and therefore blocking Sims 4 from writing to the user folder.  This is only relevant if the Documents directory for this user account is inside the OneDrive folder.  You can check by opening Command Prompt and entering this command:

reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"

If the file path doesn't have OneDrive in its name, then this is irrelevant.  If it does, then that can be addressed, but it might be faster just to use the new account.  Let me know what you'd like to do.

If neither of these helps, it's probably going to be easier to just transfer your content to the new Windows account rather than continue to look for more obscure causes of the error.
