gallery lot is taking forever to save

Do you have any mods? Becouse this issue causes outdated UIC mod. The other thing is that yesterday several people were having trouble downloading houses from the Gallery. I think the connection to the server was weak.

I haven't had the issue in a couple weeks but back when I was having this problem,I could get it to fix itself by doing "Ctrl+Alt+Delete". I wouldn't have to close anything and really take any further action, but calling it up and toggling out of the game and back in seemed to kick-start it again and it would resume.  I would then be able to re-save it successfully. 

So this isn't a real fix but I would suggest trying it since it's quick and easy.

I would also suggest clearing the cache and that type of stuff

1. Delete the localthumbscache.package file in this directory. ...
2. Go inside the cache folder and delete all files that end in .cache, but do not delete the actual directory.
3. Go back, then to the cachestr folder.

Also, if it's been ages since you played you might want to do a clean install.

I have this same problem. How exactly did you close the game without being able to press exit?
